A Month of Mommyhood

Exactly one month today ,at 12:11 pm, our little boy entered the world and our lives forever changed.  If motherhood has taught me anything so far, it would be that I need to multitask to get anything done.  (It is amazing how I've managed to learn how to eat, do laundry, and clean with a baby in my arms!)  Another lesson I have learned is to be okay when things don't go as planned.  I am so thankful that Owen's delivery was safe and uncomplicated, but it definitely didn't go as I had thought or imagined!  Here is the story...   As I entered the 38th week of my pregnancy, I started to become a little impatient.  I was becoming more and more uncomfortable with each passing day and just wanted to meet our baby.  I started reading about different natural ways to start labor, although most of them said to wait until you were past your due date.  I figured as long as they were safe methods that it would be okay so I decided to try a few.....

The Secret Is Out!

Hello there!  Is it just me or is this year already flying by?!  This week is the start of our last quarter at school, and then summer starts!  Whoo-hoo! I do love the springtime though when the weather is just right and everything comes back to life.  Everyone seems to get a lot happier too! ;)  It's amazing what the sun does for us. Lol Our anniversary is just a few weeks away, and it is hard to believe how quickly a year has gone by.  What a wonderful journey that marriage has taken us on, and we are excited to share our secret with you- God has blessed us with the wonderful gift....of a child! <3  Greg and I with our little peanut! We are very excited to be parents! I have had about every symptom so far, but am feeling good all in all. We would appreciate your prayers, and stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks and months!! 😊 💗 Stephanie
