My Life In a Paragraph

Where to start....

I grew up in cornfield country- good ole Indiana. I am the 4th out of 5 children who happen to all be red-headed (except muah). Lol My parents raised us in a Christian home for which I am very thankful. We were a very tight knit family, and now that we're all grown up, my siblings are my closest friends. I have been going to and involved in church since I was about 4. I had my first job at 16 at a local grocery store and then as a camp counselor for several summers before I headed off to college. After 4.5 years (and several switched majors), I graduated from Hyles-Anderson College in Dec. 2012 with my Secondary Education degree in English and Home Economics and BEST of all, found the man I would eventually marry. :) I worked at a daycare for two years and then became Mrs. Lambert this past Spring! We lived in an apartment in Highland, IN for a few months while my husband worked on a dock, and I worked in the men's department at Carson's. Some of my favorite things to do are cook/bake, shop, run, spend time with my husband, sing in the choir and write! (and not in that order;)!)

We are now living in the Albuquerque area in New Mexico, and I serve as the 1st & 2nd grade teacher at Gospel Light Baptist Church. (The journey of how we get here will be another post itself.) I am learning a lot as a first year teacher, and am thankful for where God has us!

That was the very condensed version, but I hope you feel like you know me a little better!

Thank you for reading!
